Vajda Papir invests in new tissue line in Hungary

 

One June 11, 2014, in the presence of 100 guests - including national and local government representatives, diplomats, partners, clients and suppliers as well as the press - the new major investment project of HUF 1.8 billion to increase the production capacity of Vajda Papír Kft. was unveiled, which is to open up new vistas for the company.

The company has significantly increased the production capacity of its Soroksár plant.

 

Vajda Papír Kft. the leading tissue paper manufacturer and exporter in Hungary has increased its production capacity by 10 per cent by installing two high-capacity production lines. The total production capacity of the company in Hungary now exceeds 80 thousand tonnes per year. As a result of the HUF 1.8 bn investment, which was completed in four months, Vajda Papír Kft. now uses 22 production lines for the manufacturing of tissue paper. At its Ócsai street plant the number of staff increased by 15 people to 410.

Vajda Papír Kft. the leading tissue paper manufacturer and exporter in Hungary has increased its production capacity by 10 per cent by installing two high-capacity production lines today. The total production capacity of the company in Hungary now exceeds 80 thousand tonnes per year. As a result of the HUF 1.8 bn investment the revenue of the group is expected to be more than HUF 30 billion.

The company sets up foreign subsidiaries to strengthen its market position

 

Vajda Papír Kft. is in the process of continuous development: the company spent HUF 200 million on new machinery last year, and allocated HUF 1.7 billion for development this year. The company set up a subsidiary in Poland in February to boost export sales, and its German subsidiary started its operations in April.
